In 2012, Linda had an idea – to produce placemats that would highlight shelter pets in the area that are in need of adoption. In order to do this we needed to obtain some restaurants who would agree to use them daily, as well as some local businesses who would be willing to sponsor the shelter animals. This would ensure that thousands of people saw any adoptable shelter pets and the businesses that support them each day and give the pets a great chance to be visited or adopted at our local shelters.

There have been many happy adoptions since our first set of placemats were printed, as pets who have been spotted on the mat have been adopted into loving homes. We currently have our mats in restaurants throughout Fulton and Montgomery Counties and are always open to adding new ones. Please contact us if you know of a restaurant who would like to help get pets noticed by using our placemats. We currently distribute 52,000 placemats every 7 weeks.

A few years after we started our placemat business, we realized that we wanted to portray even more shelter pets and rescues in the area. That is how the idea came about to start a magazine called Crazy About Pets! This FREE publication is printed and distributed for free, once or twice a year, and is available online as well. This allows us to highlight area shelters and get important information out to pet lovers in our area. We have fabulous contributors who write articles pertaining to topics important to all pet lovers. We have also released one FOSTER magazine, highlighting the importance of fostering in the rescue community and how people can get involved.

Presently, you will find our Crazy About Pets magazine tucked inside of our newest publication called We Call This Home magazine. This current magazine highlights not only the wonderful pets in need of adoption in our area but also the fabulous businesses that are all around us, the amazing people that live here in our communities, and more. In fact, now, we will be highlighting area Veterans in future issues, who we have the utmost respect for.  In between the new issue of We Call This HOME, you will find our newest idea, a magazine called “Get Off Your APP & Go!”. This one was started to highlight all the great things there are to do in our communities in the summer months. You will find dogs/cats and QR codes throughout this magazine as well.
